Where Art Reveals the Depths of the Mind - Lima Barreto and Nise da Silveira in scene.
The First International BrazilianTheater Festival in Miami was conceived by Rio-born actress, writer, and producer Ana Bugarim and is set to take place in November 2024. The festival will celebrate the literary legacy of the iconic Brazilian author Lima Barreto, bringing his powerful works to life on the Miami stage under the theme "Echoes of Madness: Lima Barreto in Scene."
With the support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
